We are dissappointed to learn that Joshua will now require 24 hour ventilation and need around the clock nursing care. It is also hard to hear that Joshua will not be able to get rid of his trach - even with the diaphragmatic pacemaker we were hoping for - for so long. We will still be needing to travel to Chicago to meet with this new specialist several more times in the future. Our next trip will be in the summer of 2007.
If you would like to help with medical and travel
expenses, you may make donations, here.
Or you can mail them (or send Joshua a greeting) to:

GOD BLESS YOU!
Thank you for taking time to read about us.
I really believe God has plans to use us in a mighty way.
May He bless you and shine through you, too.
The program below sounds wonderful!
If you know of anyone who could benefit from this, the contact person is Linda White and it's on the website (listed below.)
Here's the description:
Often children must travel hundreds of miles from home to receive specialized treatment.
KINfolk is there for these children. KINfolk provides a traveling computer for the child.
This computer is assigned to go with the child wherever he or she may go during the course of his or her illness.
This program provides uninterrupted contact for the child and his or her online support network.
Those traveling with the child may also use the computer to keep in touch with home and work, allowing the more time
with the child while maintaining employment. Many KINfolk children use the computers to talk to their parents and siblings at home.

About Me
- Name: Vanessa
- Location: Cibolo, Texas, United States
I am a Christian wife and mother. My professional background is in television news and journalism. However, I am no longer working in television. Since my son's illness was diagnosed in the fall of 2005, I have been a stay at home mom. I grew up in a Christian home and am trying to raise my family the same way. My church family is also very important to me.
